Tomorrows exam.

Lately I’ve felt very stressed about many things that should get done, school, finding a summer job and so on. Breaking my leg did not do me any favors either, so to make a long story short it’s been an uphill battle. Tomorrow I have an exam, that I haven’t studied nearly enough for so I think I’m going to have to retake it in April. Well I can’t do anything about how I prioritized my time the past week now.

This is how I feel about all my obstacles and unsolved problems.

Since I broke my leg my life’s been kind of boring no parties, no shopping, no long lunches, no gym, all in all a very uneventful time in my life. I’m very much looking forward to literally getting back up on my feet. 😀 I will never ever underestimate the power of two well functioning legs!

I thought I’d share the very few pics I took from “Hankens Årsfest”. (I don’t really like posting pictures of myself, it feels so narcissistic, but I don’t have that much to choose from so this time I hope we’ll survive.) Feb 24, my school had it’s annual ball. It was a white tie event and very fancy. Also this was my fist time wearing an evening gown. Somehow when everyone was dressed up and we had this fancy dinner it didn’t feel like an ordinary school party. I had an awesome time and I’m not sure at what time the next morning I was home.

The girls.
The girls. Sorry Flippi ❤
Hell on wheels.
Sweet Nadia.
I was pleasantly surprised when I was served two desserts.

After Ruka we continued our journey to Pyhä. Pyhä isn’t as crowded as Ruka. We had a free day and a workday there. The workday went really well, the sun was shining and the people were happy. After Pyhä, Pallas was next up. Pallas was much smaller than the other places we’ve been. There’s just one hotel, and it’s been there for the past 60 years. It was very cozy and the staff was so friendly.

My luck unfortunately turned at Pallas. We were going to go ski off piste, but on our way there I fell and broke my leg.

The one photo I took before I broke my leg. It was so beautiful up there!

…and then they were done.
The plastic sock I have to wear is so unbelievable ugly!

Tomorrow my school has this annual ball, were everyone gets so dress up fancy and be beautiful. I was so looking forward to it, since I didn’t attend last year, and next year I’m probably on my exchange. Well I’ll be the best looking crippled person there, at least that’s something. hahaa

Lappland, so I’ve missed you.

Greetings from the cold north! Okay, it’s not that cold, only -5 today. We are in Ruka with the Suomi Slalom-gang. We arrived late last night. The drive here was almost 12h. I don’t think I’ve ever driven this long a distance. Tomorrow it’s a work day, that means we get up at 6am and start building our “village” at 7am and then usually at 9/10am people start arriving. It’s mostly fun but also quite physically challenging.

Now I have to start writing on my swedish business rapport. Smell you later!

Just a few Starbucks coffees for tomorrows workday.
